Operation "Crimson Dawn" will be another A-10C DLC campaign set in Caucasus.

NATO forces have been dispatched to Georgia (GE) on the request of GE authorities with an aim of restoring territorial integrity of the country and regaining control over two breakaway territories, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. These parts of GE have been recognised as independent states by the Russian Federation (RF). However, after the collapse of government of Vladimir Putin and internal unrest and struggle for power that followed, Russian forces have been ordered to withdraw from all areas outside the RF, including Ukraine and GE.

Most of the 16th Guard Division under command of Vladimir Chisov, stationed in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, refused to obey the orders from Moscow. Instead, Chisov's forces have been dislocated throughout both regions in an attempt to gain control over them. GE government, instead of trying to solve the problem militarily as in 2008, this time called for NATO help.

Campaign will be between 15 and 18 missions long and - unlike Enemy Within 3.0 - will throw player into large scale campaign against well trained and equipped foe. You will have to cooperate closely with other assets (CAP, SEAD, AWACS) in order to successfully fulfil your tasks.
